After large group, the kids all break into their smaller classes. The youngest class in co-op is called "Five In A Row". This is the name of the curriculum they follow. Each week, this class reads an awesome children's literature book and does activities related to what they read. For the first week, FIAR read "Three Names." Its the story of a boy who grows up on the prairie and has a dog with three names. "Three Names" follows the boy everywhere, even to school! After reading, the kids learned how to play marbles and made tornadoes in a bottle.
The FIAR class has nine kids in it: Abbi, Alissa Rae, Alyssa, Ethan, Gabriel, Jonah, Julia, Kade and Noah.
