Tapestry of the Desert 3rd Annual Art Show and Benefit

This year, the Tapestry kids did an amazing job creating original works of art for our annual Art Show and Benefit, which was held on the evening of May 9, 2013.  The money we raised went to Pastor Phillip Monger, who is originally from Bhutan.  Pastor Monger has spent time in Bhutanese refugee camps where he began ministering to the different ethnic groups that were displaced by the government.  In 2009, God opened the door for him and his family to come to the United States.  In the US, Pastor Monger started a church, which ministers to other refugees from Bhutan.  In the end, we raised just over $2000 for Pastor Monger's church, which helps these refugees get a new start in a new land. Praise God for His work through us!
