It's our fourth week of co-op and we are studying the gridlock that characterized World War I. The kids learned all about trench warfare and the destruction it caused. This week, the Lower Grammar kids made pool noodle periscopes, the Upper Grammar class made WWI biplanes, and the Dialectic class put the finishing touches on their trench dioramas. The Five in a Row kids read the charming book, "Blueberries for Sal." They had fun playing blueberry games, and doing activities related to this book.
