This week, we learned about the end of World War I. While the world enjoyed the peace that came from the end of the heinous war, we soon would learn that this peace would be short lived. The terms of the peace agreement left Germany angry, poor and desperate for a strong leader who would restore them to the proud and powerful nation they once were and believed they should still be. The Five in a Row class read the book, "The Carrot Seed." They also enjoyed making some cute carrot crafts.
